Michael Williamson-Giles

I have travelled extensively throughout Canada and the USA during my 16 years with Frontier making sure we feature only the very best ski resorts and hotels that these two great countries offer.

Having been to the ski resort’s and hotels personally means I can give you my honest opinion based on my own experiences. In the modern day world we can all look at photo’s of hotels and maps of resorts, but where we differ is we have been there, we have seen it and can offer that personal recommendation.

Some of my favourite trips have involved picking up a car upon arrival and driving to lots of varied resorts. This is a great way to combine a number of ski resorts on one trip and also to see some truly stunning scenery along the way.

What I really enjoy is discussing holiday plans with you, be it combining several resorts together or planning that unforgettable family getaway. Getting an understanding of what you want from your holiday and then tailoring an itinerary for you is one of my favourite parts of the job (along with the visits to the resorts of course).

Not only can I tell you the best resorts to ski, but I can also tell you about the top places to go once you come off the slopes. I always make sure to try the bars and restaurants when I am there.  A tough job but somebody has to do it!

Shortly after starting work for Frontier Travel I was lucky enough to head out to Canada on my first visit to this lovely country. I immediately realised why we specialised in holidays to Canada. It’s simply stunning! From its scenery and wildlife to the people you meet who are so friendly and relaxed.

Over twenty five years later I have been lucky enough to visit a lot of the places and hotels we feature on this website and many more.  Some of my highlights include experiencing a night at the Ice Hotel in Quebec and skiing in the US resorts of Vail and Breckenridge. I’ve also been dog-sledding and snowmobiling.

We recently had a ski safari visit of most of the ski resorts we feature on the west coast of Canada. Flying into Vancouver and starting in Whistler, then heading east over to the Rockies and home from Calgary – 9 ski resorts in 2 weeks.  Resorts and accommodation look great and we are ready to arrange your perfect ski holiday out to Canada and USA.

Jane Parker

I am fairly new to the travel industry. Having worked for over 20 years in Promotional Marketing for West End Theatre shows, developing and implementing campaigns for a wide variety of theatre clients, I was ready for a new career challenge. I joined the Frontier Travel team in 2023 to help with all the admin involved with booking the various holiday elements and preparing the travel documents for clients. Lots of attention to detail (which I love!) to ensure everyone’s holiday runs as smoothly as possible.

I have travelled to the USA a few times, including an RV trip from San Francisco to LA which was absolutely fantastic, and have been to Toronto in Canada. Having worked here for just a short time I am already building up a (long!) shortlist of places I’d like to visit and experiences I’d like to do in both the USA and Canada, having seen the fantastic itineraries that are put together for our clients!
