As the name would suggest Sunshine Mountain Lodge is located high in the Canadian Rockies on the mountain itself. Accessible by the Sunshine Gondola and given international flight arrival times mean we highly advise a night in either Banff or Calgary before heading over to Sunshine. Located at 7,200 feet Sunshine Mountain Lodge does offer a unique experience. We feel it works best as part of a split stay between Banff Town, Lake Louise or as part of a larger ski safari.

As the hotel is at the top of the gondola you will be the first on the fresh snow every morning. The only ski-in/ski-out hotel in Banff and with everything you need on site from casual to fine dining and fantastic facilities to keep you entertained off the slopes.
