Why Book With Frontier?

Why choose Frontier Ski?

We specialise in Canada and the USA so focussing on these two destinations means we have personally visited every hotel and every resort we feature across Canada and the USA. Visiting them ourselves ensures our advice remains completely honest, up-to-date, and shaped by real experience, not a brochure.

What does our personal service mean for you?

From your initial enquiry until the moment you return home, you will work with a dedicated travel consultant. We don’t believe in large call centres, automated menus, or long hold times. When you call, a real person answers promptly. You can even reach your advisor directly on their dedicated line, ensuring you always speak to someone who knows your trip inside out.

Can I choose my own dates and duration?

Absolutely. We don’t have rigid schedules or set departure days. You decide when you want to go and how long for. We use our experience to put together the holiday you want. Whether you are looking for a week’s skiing in one resort, combining several resorts with a car or transfers, or including a city break, we can make it happen.

Are tailor-made ski holidays expensive?

Exceptional service doesn’t have to carry a premium price tag. Because we operate efficiently without the heavy overheads or large corporate offices of bigger agencies, we pass those savings directly to you. Our deep industry connections and decades of experience mean you get a completely tailored ski holiday at a highly competitive price.

What do your clients say about your service?

They love it! We are incredibly proud of our 5-star reviews, which reflect our commitment to excellence. In fact, over 60% of our clients have travelled with us before and would recommend us to a friend because we always deliver a great holiday at a great price with great service.

How long have we been planning ski holidays?

For over 35 years, our small and friendly team has been specialising in tailor-made getaways to Canada and the USA. We absolutely love what we do, and we channel that passion into providing honest, expert advice to help you create your perfect winter escape

Is my money protected?

Absolutely. Every single flight-inclusive ski holiday we book is 100% ATOL protected (ATOL 5405). For packages that do not include flights, your booking is fully protected by ABTA (W3207). This ensures your money is completely safe and secure from the moment you pay your deposit until you return home, giving you absolute peace of mind.

Do you only arrange ski holidays?

Not at all. While this website focuses entirely on winter, our sister brands allow us to design bespoke holidays to Canada and the USA all year round. Through our dedicated summer and tailor-made operations, we apply the exact same level of destination expertise to create luxury rail journeys, summer road trips, wildlife safaris, and ranch holidays.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Jeanette from Frontier Travels Ltd for all the time and effort she put into arranging our recent travels. Everything she organised, from the car hire and ranch arrangements through to the various travel details, went absolutely without a hitch. All the arrangements were to a very good standard, and it was reassuring to know that everything had been so carefully thought through and organised. The attention to detail and the smooth way in which Jeanette orchestrated everything made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable for us. It was a real pleasure having her take care of the arrangements. I have already recommended Frontier Travel to a number of friends, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in using Frontier Travel Ltd again in the future. Thank you once again for making the trip such a success. It was very much appreciated. The experience was fantastic, wonderful memories and lots of photos.

We discussed want we wanted from this trip with Joanne at Frontier Canada. Joanne then put together a great plan that worked in every detail from flights, car hire , routes and accommodation. Every detail was on the Vamoos app down loaded from Frontier and kept us fully updated with all aspects and was particularly useful when we had a slight delay on our return flight. That's two trips with Frontier Travel , both were planned and delivered by them to a very high standard...look forward to a third.

Thank you so much to Joanne at Frontier for doing a fantastic job of putting together a relatively last minute family trip to the Rockies for us and sorting accommodation in Seattle for us too. We'd love to come back and we'd definitely ask Frontier to help us again.

We had a wonderful holiday -we thoroughly enjoyed it all. We were impressed with all the arrangements and organisation you did for us especially linking the ferries and the train which could have been tricky. We had no complaints about any of the hotels or activities – all worked extremely well. Thank you to Joanne Moores for doing such a great job planning it all for us. We would thoroughly recommend Frontier Travel.

Returned, just over a week ago, from a fantastic two(ish!) week trip to California! Jeanette planned our trip brilliantly! From San Fran to Yosemite to Monterey to Santa Barbara to LA to San Diego and then home! All the hotels were brilliant and the hints and tips she gave us for all the various destinations were invaluable too! Thanks Jeanette - we couldn’t have done this trip without you!

My wife and I had a fantastic time on our holiday - going around the USA and Canada by train – from start to finish. Thank you very much for organising such a grand adventure for us. We will be coming back to you for our next adventure for sure.

Highly recommend using Frontier to help make your dreams come true!! Joanne Moores was AMAZING!! During the planning it felt she knew what we wanted better than what we did! We saw/did everything off our (long) bucket list, it was an incredible, once in a lifetime holiday!! We kept on putting it off, hoping to find some time to plan our trip one day but months turned to years and I fear we simply wouldn’t have gone if we hadn’t reached out to Joanne which now we’ve been, would be a total tragedy!! Just give them a call, you won’t regret it!!! xx

Joanne Moore was the absolute best agent for arranging my trip! I have dreamt of going to Montana my whole life and I had a huge wishlist for the trip. I had a really bad start to the year and knew that I needed this trip. I phoned Frontier and spoke to the lovely Jo, I gave her my long wishlist and budget and she just jumped to it! The most hassle free trip I have organized or not as it were, Jo was always at the end of the phone and whenever I called to see if I could add things on to the trip, nothing was ever too much trouble, she always settled my nerves as this was a solo trip and I often called her in the weeks leading up to my trip. We stayed in touch during the trip and it was everything I ever dreamed of, the places I stayed were wonderful, the scenery was breathtaking. The best part of my trip was definitely the ranch stay at Circle Bar ranch where I made some life long friends. I had my own cabin, we had 3 meals a day in the main dining room, it was rustic, wholesome and idyllic. I went on two rides a day as well as participating in other activities and had drinks and s'mores by the fire in the evening. I also went to Whitefish which was lovely and all the accomodation Jo booked for me was brilliant. I went to Glacier national Park, Yellowstone National Park and glamped in Paradise Valley (very deserving of its name), Yellowstone was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend getting to a point in the park called Lamar Valley for dawn to see all the native bears, wolves and buffalo. From there i went to Cody for the rodeo and finally onto South Dakota for 2 nights as the last leg of my trip to see Mt Rushmore with many stops on the way including the Battle of Little Big horn and the Badlands National Park. I couldn't have arranged the trip better myself! Thank you so much to Jo and Frontier Travel.

We had the most amazing time in Canada thanks to Joanne and the team at Frontier Canada. All hotels were in great locations to explore the areas and had good facilities. The Canadian Train was a great experience. The Icefields Parkway and Columbia Icefields were brilliant, some lakes were still frozen in May so we never got to experience the blue waters of Lake Louise. The Rocky Mountaineer train was fantastic with amazing views, food drink were plentiful and staff on board were brilliant. I can't praise Frontier Canada enough, this was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Joanne enough in helping us plan the most phenomenal honeymoon! Joanne took so much time and care in listening to our wild ideas and making our trip such a success. Despite a few bumps in the road, namely my new husband forgetting his driving licence (on our fly-drive trip around BC) every experience was top notch. The highlights of our whale watching boat trips and champagne and caviar afternoon tea over looking the rockies will now always remind us of the most special start to our married life. Thank you, we are already discussing our next Canadian Adventure.

Very good travel agents. Dealt with my Canada plans very well. Thorough itinerary to give me a brilliant trip. One bad hotel which I advised shouldn't be used by them anymore ann received slight compensation. But out of 20 hotels over 7 wk that was the only issue- great service by Jeanette in UK. Would thoroughly recommend using for CANADA 🇨🇦

Absolutely superb service from Jeanette at Frontier Travel and I cannot offer my recommendation more strongly. Not only was her level of knowledge superb, she was full of ideas, suggestions and recommendations and - most importantly - no amount of tweaks to the itinerary [or questions] we're ever met with anything but patience and supreme professionalism. I was especially struck when she gently talked out of something and suggested an alternative she felt was "more me" - and cheaper. And, in the end, the trip delivered...and [so much] more. What a pleasure dealing with such a first-class tour operator and such a fantastic consultant.

Recently returned from a trip to Canada across the rockies and a cruise to Alaska. Jeanette and the team at Frontier Travel took our wish list and translated it into a fantastic itinerary and had some great ideas on how to enhance our holiday. They seem to know the great places to stop at and can work to accommodate your needs and budget. If you're usure on what you want to do and go exactly, but have a rough idea, these guys are able to turn that into a memorable experience.

We have just returned from a 3 week trip to Banff, Jasper, Vancouver, Vancouver Island, including a trip on the Rocky Mountaineer (Jasper, Kamloops, Vancouver). It was an outstanding, memorable time. Great hotels, wonderful wildlife, friendly welcome wherever we went. The weather was warmer and drier than we expected which was a bonus! Jeanette from Frontier Canada gave us all the help and advice we needed from start to finish. Freedom to explore different options with helpful suggestions. Thank you to Frontier Canada!
